Anyone else think that the giant spring will break balls?

At least they called them 'magazines'.

I too, heard about it long ago.

It holds more than the Q.

Seems more competitive with the warp, it's battery powered.

Another loader that uses the feed neck for structural support... great!

It seems now the name of the game is paintball sorting. Various loaders deal with this problem in a number of different ways. Like agitators, impellers, belt drives, and pre-sorting.

Speed, capacity, and size are the three variables it seems.

The "cement mixer" approach in this one is interesting, but the design as pictured doesn't do anything for me. You gain space by going back to unsorted paintball storage, and then you lose it again with all that gearing and motor and junk. And...

...I wouldn't consider this a force-fed loader, as I think the amount of force you'd have to put on that back spring to really make it force fed would break paint, or cause a really annoying jam at the front of the funnel. I think the spring power is just to "encourage" the balls to go a certain direction; sort of a substitute for horizontal gravity. This one will still rely mostly on gravity.

I'm actually more interested in the ball gate design than the rest of the loader itself.

This is all, of course, speculation. I kind of think the most efficient solution to the problem would be to integrate the solution with the gun itself.

Id say the viewloader loader is the best out of them all, no springs, electric, and fast reload time. Id say its the next generation of "Loaders". hehe

All of these new loaders are so ugly and expensive (check actonvillage.com for price). I will stick with my reloader:)

The what?

Oh, heh, actually, I'm still reminiscing over the TS1/AT85.

The A5 is a neat gun though. I think I'll try one next time I go out and play.

That bloody cyclone tends to break though. I've seen several A5s go down with broken cyclone feeds.

Don't remember the resolution to them, but perhaps it was a bad batch.

Of course, one guy's brand new Alias was a piece of crap right out of the box too, so...I guess it's all relative.
