I heard that there will no longer be hyperball in NPPL next year and that that series will only use airball fields with no hoses. any truth to this?

also when was hyperball the name copywrited?

they're not going to get rid off hyperball, too many fields have it and like SC village, where LA open is, they wouldn't stop using there great hyperball feilds..

It will depend on the event. At a permanent field, like SC Village, you will of course see Hyperball. At many of your other events, though, it will be all Air ball. This is simply due to the mobility and ease of set up of an Air field. Hyperball fields are an incredible pain to move around and to set up once you get them there. Look to see all air fields at Mardi Gras, Gettysburg, Atlantic City and World Cup as they are not permanent fields. Chicago and LA will continue to have more variety as they are held at permanent sites.
