i imagine the o ring will still seal it off. try to put it in your marker, then tell us what happens.

Well, the bent before was down, but i hit it with a hammer + a screwdriver to put it more or less to level. It was working fine until I saw it bent up now? It works fine, but I'm afraid of future problems.

It's better to have the gouge up than down because everytime I degassed my marker it woudl break and oring. I lost about 20 orings with that bent.

Ahh! See it now. I had an old co2 tank and that whole part actually broke off and it still worked fine.

When it quits working fine, you will have to replace the valve.....
(Just stating the obvious...)

i have another 32º hyperflow reg that i'll sell you for $15 + shipping... brand new... without a bent lip

but i've had a few co2 tanks that got bent like that, nothing horrible, except for a few more killed o-rings... but i get free o-rings, so i didnt care :p

next time, you may want to invest in a thread protector ;)

Got enough teflon on there? You don't need that much only 3ish wraps around works fine.

just put an extra oring in your asa, it should be fine.

w00t. Thanks then. :)

But, if I do want to buy a new reg for it, can I just put any I want and ask a scuba shop to change it?

yep. two issues:

1) there are two different thread sizes in paintball tanks. Dont know which one yours is and you'll need to get the right threads (the threads that go into the bottle neck).

2) saftey. Have a certified Paintball Airsmith do the work. A SCUBA guy at a shop could prolly do it, but the PB guys will know more specifically what to do and whatnot.

best wishes, let us know if we can help
