Chrome plate on side of ULE RT PRO

I don't like the color of the chrome plate with my gun and want to make it black. has anybody painted their plate and is there any kind of spraypaint i could use my self instead of wasting my money on a professional doing it for me. is there any spray paint that wont let the plate rust or look like crapt.

You could buy a black one here (http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=129739). Or just paint it. I take it you're talking about the grip rail. It is Stainless, no rust. You could also have it powder coated, or just remove it completely as I did.

Well I just dont use the grip rail on my RTP. But I did just spray paint my Spyder (for woods ball) grip frame with Rustoleum(sp) Textured and it gives a sweet finish.
