between the AIR valve and the tank with mags ? Any refill problems in the valve ?

I seem to be having a gas flow starvation issue right now with my elcd framed classic mag - ie, the valve isn't filling fast enough to keep up with the higher cyclic rate of the frame - and while enlarging and doubling the gas ports inside the vert adapter improved matters, it still hickups occassionally. I'm just going thru options as to what might improve the situation.

A regulator will starve the valve for air

joni is correct the reg wont give you any benifit it will most likly hurt you more

your problem probably is that you are using electronic frame with a classic valve. so you are getting shootdown

you need a xvalve or a retro valve

a freidn of mine had the same problem with an ELCD. the AIR valve will generally only work well to about 13 BPS. (yes there are some that will do more, lets not geting to that) the ELCD will do 15 BPS and there is the problem. turn your max ROF down and the problem will likely go away.
