Here is the sistuation,

Nicad has his new trigger on the way out. I think some of you are fimliar with the concept on how it works. Mechanical assit would be a combination of levers and pullies used to activate the ULT in the same way that the stock on/off is used in Nicad's trigger. SO I am just wondering what you guys would prefer...

FYI, with either approach, there are downsides. You don't get something for nothing.

Pneumatics - efficiency goes down.

Mechanical - longer trigger stroke.

Just something to keep in mind.

I don't really care how it is done. I want short, light, reliable, easy to maintain and repair. Put all that together in one package and I'm happy. I don't care how it's done. :D

Pneumatics cuz I couldnt really give a crap about efficiency and because I havnt seen a mechanical assist trigger yet but I have seen Nicads and it seems to work well so until I see a working model of a mech assist trigger then im goin with Nicads.

I'd vote pneumatic because it'd be relativly simple.

The mechanical assist makes me think that you'd open up the frame and it'd be like the clockwork man in there. One little mistake and the whole thing blows little tiny parts all over the place.
