I bought a used emag and have been playing with it for a couple of months with no problems.

I gassed her up the other day to make sure she was runnin before a game and whenever I touched the trigger it would bounce reeeeaaaalllll bad. Then when I turned the electronics off and the gun was just sitting there it just started shooting a mile a minute. I have a 70ci 4500psi WGP tank on it and whenever I leave it sitting gassed up it just starts shooting.

I need your help guys what do I do.

Can you verify that with a gauge?

My initial guess is that your tank reg is creeping.

It cant be the tank because I used my friends adjustable tank and it still does the same thing. It has to be the gun itself. Im guessing it is the solenoid but Im not sure.

You said it'll go full auto, just sitting there, even with the electronics off,is that correct?

That should eliminate the soleniod and the electronics.

All that's left pretty much is either a too short on/off pin(perhaps it's simply worn)or perhaps stiction of the on/off pin not allowing it to fully reset or a badly worn sear.

IMO.

Yeah, we had a gun like that. The moment you put air through it w/o even turning the gun itself on, it would fire f/a. Turns out he snapped off the bottom of his on/off pin. It was so short it didn't even go all the way through the on/off assembly.

My guess is that you tried taking the valve out one too many times w/o pulling the trigger first to get the pin out of the way. Snapped the little bit off.

Alright cool thanks now how do i fix that. Should i just send it to agd and have them fix it or can it be fixed without there help and not risk any more damage.

On off pins are easily replaceable. If you de-gas the gun, remove the valve, and then look at the bottom of the valve for a brass squarish piece, and take that out, you'll see the on off pin in there (wow, really bad run-on there).

I can only find the RT on/off pin in the AGD store. Are the RT pins the same length as the E Mag pins?

No.

Emags are .712 w/ the brass on/off top
.725 w/ the Aluminum on/off top

R/T's are .750 R/T Pros .765

You can always call em. I browsed for the E-Mag on off pin and couldn't find it.

Give em a ring and they'll be able to set you up.
