Help a Female Paintball player out with petition signatures...

I live in Canada and there's a lovely young lady who's been lobbying Mac Dev for a Pink Cyborg.

She's got roughly 299 signatures and I was wondering if you could help a fellow player out

Her name in Jen and she plays for Team Exodus out of Nanaimo, BC

Would you take a minute or two and fill out her petition?

no offence to her but seeing as she has the money for the gun couldnt she just get a raw one and send it to some annodizing place? in all honesty it would probably be a hell of a lot easier

Here's what I would do:

Buy a cyborg.
Send it to a custom shop to have it reannoed.

thats stupid, mac-dev is a small company and probably cant afford to make a special run of guns that may or may not sell just becuase this one girl wants them made. maybe if she got like 10 girls all with cash in hand then mac-dev would do it but otherwise its stupid.

I have to admit this is kind of silly. With all the custom shops out there, folks can get their markers done any way they want. And it would take less effort as well. :rolleyes:

Just have her buy a raw cyborg and have it Anno'd to the color she wants. What's the point of this?

Everything is about money if she want's it that bad she can offer Mac Dev more money for one. But it would be better just to buy one and have a custom job done.

I had my GF's E Orracle custom anno'd pink/silver...just get it done.

so all the guys, who would never buy one of those markers in the batch, are signing the petition. Why would MacDev see that as a reason to make them? Now if these guys were putting deposits down on them to buy them themselves, that might sway MacDev a little...

she should be seeking out other female players who want a pink cyborg, and trying to get a batch order together through a distributor or something like it.

money talks more than a 10 second signature.

Thanks to those who did take the few minutes to sign - I figured I'd post on AO because you guys are usually pretty decent about helping a fellow baller out

Plus, it's for a really nice lady, why should you question it, they do think differently

I know she can take it to a custom shop, she probably knows that too. I don't ask to many questions when asked for a favour

What does it matter that 300 people signed a petition if only 1 of those people are going to buy one for sure? As stated above, finding enough people for a group order with the desired colors would be more logical. How many other people are there that are really ready to throw $1000 down to get their pink Cyborg? I would guess of the 300+ sigs, maybe 1% would actually be customers should there be a pink run.

Don't count your Cyborgs before they are annoed.
