Where can I get this lube for an intimidator? Are there other trade names for it?

Go to McMaster Carr (http://www.mcmaster.com) and do a search for Dow33.

They sell it in HUGE tubes (which are cheaper than SP's tiny ones), enough to lube an army of Timmies.

Now, my son, go forth . . . . and lubricate. :D

#1 - you want DOW 55 (not DOW 33)

#2 - check Ebay - they have HUGE tubes of it that will last you a lifetime... for only like $15 or so if i'm correct

Just to clarify... any Dow 33 grease is the exact same as those little white Shocker (03) Lube tubes?

YEs, Dow 33 is shocker lube. I emailed a tech about the use of white lithium grease, and this is what was said: Dow 55 is made specifically for orings, and will last the longest without breaking them down as fast. Dow 33 is a little lighter, will work fine, but may break the orings down sooner. White lithium is fine as well, you will just need to lube more often, as it is a lighter grease.
In conclusion, any one of those 3 are fine...starting with 55 and working your way down.

Go to page # 1986, and scroll down to the bottom.

Dow 33 is Shocker lube, or rather Shocker Lube is Dow 33.

It is listed as Synthetic Extreme Low Temp Grease.

Its like $15 for a giant tube.

Dow 33 is great for paintball guns, although I've heard that its too thick for use inside Mag valves.

Cockers love it (its like love juice for them ;) ), as do Spyders, Impulses, Shockers, and every other marker I've used it on.

Never owned an Intimidator, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.

Dow 55 is what you want for timmies. Dow 33 will work but is'nt as good. 55 causes o-rings to swell a bit and seal off better but don't use it on any other guns, unless you like your gear locking up.

ok thanks for the page number ryan. i found it. the 5.3 oz tube is equals out to $2.68 per oz. thats better than 50% off what my local shop sells it for. now all i need to do is find 11 other shocker owners that want to go in on the 12 pc package to really save some bucks!

LX likes it even more because it sinks into the o-rings and stays lubricted, so i don't have to constantly oil the carrier o-ring :p

and as you said... my rhythm LOVES it

ever since i lost my bottle of oil, and had some DOW 33 from my impulse, i havent had a bottle of oil since... used DOW 33 on every singe gun i've owned :D

edit: OMFG - an 8 lb./1 gal. tub of DOW33!!!!!!!
