I was thinking of getting a Z-Grip annoed and I had a few questions.

There is this little metal part in the sear area -

I can't tell if it's aluminum or not. Does anyone know anything about it?

Also, I know I have to tap out the trigger pin, but which side do I tap.

It's a classic-RT Z-grip, there is a brass(?) ring in there. Is it ok to leave this in or do I have to remove it.

How the heck to I get the safety out?

Thanks!

Nobody knows what the little round part is/does/is made of?

If the safety is the same setup as it is on the intelliframe, unscrew the set screw that's on top of the frame. It's very very small, you'll need a very small allen wrench to unscrew it. Under it is a ball bearing and a spring..don't loose those. You should be able to take the safety out, but I know Halliday at PBR said that he's never seen some one take a safety out, and put the same one back in.

I wouldn't worry too much about the metal part and the brass ring...I doubt that they could cause something in the anno to go wrong.
