Thats my dads sled, I dont have pics of my ride yet. This sled has been on the cover of several magazines, and my dad(driver) has been interviewed a lot. D&D is our sponsor.

Holy Crap! That thing is hot! I've got a Z440. It's perfect for me. I just use it for trail riding. But dang, that is one nice lookin sled!

You can see the ice in the background. We did a radar run today, 118mph on a 700cc sled(1000 feet). Its very fast, and a very agressive trail sled.

BTW, it puts out 155 ponies. Which for anyone concerned with power to weight ratios.. Whats wrong with 1:3 :)

Some of our strictly race sleds have ratios better than 1:2. Makes for fast times. 500 feet in under 5 seconds. That comes with a price tag though. 3 grand in carbs, 15g in motor work, + R&D. And its still not right.

I want 1:1 though :)

Some major R&D could achieve that.

Fortunately I grew up in New York so I am pretty familiar with snow,TO familiar actually.:)

My native Floridian wife ,on the other hand, had never SEEN snow till I took her up north for the first time before we got married. My son has never seen snow either, that still boggles my mind.

Long Island myself,south shore.

However I actually have some relations in or near Watertown IIRC, and other places upstate,as well as Brooklyn and Manhatten.

Currently though many of us are trying to take over central and south Forida.;)

Aren't they designed to go on snow?

Dubstar112

Yes, however, they are faster on grass. Simply put, the warm summer ground gives much more traction than powdery snow, or even some packed powder/ice combos.

They do snocross in thes summer. On a course made of wood chips and dirt with a big pool of water in the center, so they can drive the sled in to get the hyfaces wet.
