Wow, where to start. I'd have to say the overall bad sportsmanship of people is one thing that bothers me but you have this in every sport.
What really eats me up is dangerous behavior, (taking off masks, not using BBD's etc)
Some others are:
--Mess in your car (unless you bring yet more stuff to change into)
--The money we all pay for gear that more often than not proves to be unreliable.
--The amount of gear we have to lug with us to counter this. Tools, back up guns, back up tanks, back up masks, hoppers and their back-ups . Then carry this much for more than one individual.
--Waiting for people who are slow and like to waste daylight and can't get ready quick enough to run quick games. (what's with these people)Why do you need 20 minuets of rest between games

Most of all I hate overhyped crummy products and the quality that almost everyone in this industry lacks.

the fact that there are absolutly NO restrictions on the new technology. In baseball, a corked bat gives you an unfair advantage. In wrestling, their are weight classes. In paintball its "get the latest technology, or be forced to have a huge dissadvantage" I love the fact that it is perfectly accepted to have a bouncy 25 + bps marker on the same field with a mechanical mag, cocker, spyder, or "slow" 13 bps 2002 angel. The manufactures are running the sport, and no organized form of defense has been even attempted.

i agree with other about the bad attitudes and cheating and how the industry glorifying it. (look at the vforce ad;it has lasoya with a hundred hits on him)

but for my contribution to this thread, the worst thing in paintball is the the price fixing on the retail side by many manufacturers. It used to be $132 for a tippmann 98 but now its 139 for the lowest advetised price.( i remember when prices were $119) Also Prices for dye matrixes, impulse, shockers, and many other markers are fixed. I thought price fixing was illegal but i guess they probably "suggest" this to price to buinesses and then tell them if you don't sell it for the L.A.P. set by that manufacturer; that manufacturer won't sell to that business any more of there product. I still think it's price fixing.

That's my rant for the night :)

for me it all comes down to cost, i never get to play because there are more important things or things i would get more use out of that keep me from playing... if it wasnt so expensive to play i'd be on the field every weekend instaed of every 3-4 months
