My rev took a ****e on my yesterday and now I'm looking for the latest and greatest. I'm thinking probably a halo but saw an ad for that new vl thing that you just jam a pod into. Any suggestions would be helpful.

What gun do you run?... If you dont shoot over 17 bps, spend 75 bucks and get a viewloader evlution 2 (egg)...
If you're fast and heavy on the trigger, get a reloader B or Halo B.

Don't get an egg please! I made that mistake and it's ugly and horribly put together. Broken plastic, screws everything if you don't wanna go with a Halo B you could go with a lower end Halo?!

I refuse to buy an egg simply because they look like crap.

That was my original impression... I was hard for cash, so I got an egg instead of a halo, and I've actually grown to like the look. Granted I like the look of the halo better, but not enough to justify spending 50 bucks extra.
in the end, its your choice... and your money...

egg=~75 dollars
Halo b=~120

The reason (imo) so many people are having problems with their egg feednecks breaking is that they have too tight of a fit with their feed necks.

It needs to be loose enough that it will swivle in there when you put pressure on it. If its tight, the minute you dive into a bunker, there goes your loader.

While I'm still a big Q-loader fan, I assume you don't mind
a good hopper on top technology. I'll second the Rico apache
for practicality... I'm impressed with it's ball sensing
technology. (it uses a resistive strip bend sensor) It
certainly won't win any speed records, but it manages a
very good steady clip and is lower profile than the egg and
halo B and 1/3 the weight of the halo. I picked my second
one up for $65 used (I traded the first away and missed
having it afterwards)

For sheer performance of course I'd recommend a Halo B
with the new 33bps chip. I have an original Halo B and
aside from issues with dark paint I haven't had any problems
with it that you wouldn't find in any other hopper.
(I'm on my third shell, but both were really due to
user error, i.e. smacking into bunkers... darn cheap
plastic.)

I've been using my Empire Reloader Revolution, and it works fantastically!
