when i degas my marker on a classic valve the on off pin does not go completely into the valve. meaning that i have to completely remove the body from the rail. what do i do to fix this and why is it happening. i changed to a dye frame about a month ago and that is probably the problem. Thanks

Pull the trigger before you try taking the valve out.

Sometimes they just don't.

Make sure there is no more than 1/16" gap between the trigger and the trigger rod when fully gased up,if there is more than that, adjusting it to the proper gap may help your problem.

I have that problem also. The on off pin hits the hole that the field strip screw comes out of. When I pull my valve out I just gently put the screw partially back in and push the on-off pin in. That "releases" the valve. From what I understand that you are not suppose to change the rod length at all.

If it already has the proper gap, then you are correct.

If it doesn't have the proper gap specified by AGD as being 1/32"-1/16" then it should be adjusted to that spec for best performance.:)

I have that problem as well..........very easy fix.....

degass.....pull the trigger. then take a small screw driver or allen wrench and push the trigger rod in a little more. it wont hurt the gun at all....just pushes the on-off pin in far enough to get the valve out.
