Anyone ever do this?

Mine is slightly grungy, considering anything white will never stay clean more than a day or two.

Are special cleaners worth it?

Think OxyClean would work?

I'm thinking OxyClean and a somewhat stiff brush and some scrubbing should do a pretty good job, but I figure maybe someone here has done it before or knows someone who has.

Any help is appreciated :)

dish soap with warm water, but the solution may eat away any wax protection you had after a car wash.

Take it to a detailing place :)
Then set it on fire and buy a real car.
Simple green is fun stuff, not sure if it would screw up your car though, like it matters :)

You shouldn't have wax on a convertible top anyway, but thanks:) I'll try some stuff tonight, see what works.

Dish soap will run down over the paint though...
This removes your wax, if you use dish soap on it you should wax your car afterward.
Dawn=Best dish soap :)

Thats why when you wash the top you make sure the car is wet and you rinse it as you go. It needs to be waxed anyway.
