Hey, I got my z timmy yesterday, and with all the excitment of trying to get the clamshell open, I stripped the Allen part of one of the grip frame screws. It was completely my fault, I was using the wrong size Allen. So now I have formed almost a perfect circle, what do you guys suggest I do to get it out.

Dremel a slot in it and use a blade screwdriver.

Right now, I put some jb weld on an allen wrench and am going to let it harden and try to unscrew it then, if that doesnt work, then its time to dremel it, what tool should I use without scratching the clamshell?

I thought easy outs only worked for philps head screws?

i think they will work for just about anything. this guy that owned this mag i have put like a pound of lock tight on a macro fitting, and i broke the fitting and i got out the easy out and it pulled it right out

Worst comes to worst use a small reverse twist drill ... it should pop right out..

Well, the JB weld broke right off, scratch that plan.

look like the marker is junk, i'll give you $15 dollars and 2 bags of soda cans for it.

I'll pass on that offer:D

I got it out though, I drilled the head off the screw and the clamshell lifted right off, but that was a bit scary taking a drill to my brand new timmy...

if they are the screws i think ur talking about a dremel might damage the gun, so i dont think its worth it

Glad to hear you got it without ruining your new Timmy. Now you've gotten past the fear - on to Mod City!

Don't worry, I already took out my trigger spring and put in a custom Magno trigger:D I cannot stand springs at all...
