Just got my Xmag, and was wondering how can I get it flashed with the latest software. Do I send it in to AGD and have them tune it up at the same time or does anyone know of a good reputable company that can do it.

Also what is the policy for having a Xmag reanno'd after purchase, will it void the warrantee? Just don't care for the aluminum look.

send it to AGD, they will flash to the latest software, 3.2

I also hear that BlackVCG does it for $20 for return shipping. (on the West coast)

And Tunaman can do the same on East coast.

can it be done on an emag or only with an xmag??

ie: is the emag board compatible with the 3.2 software?

Emags and Xmags use the same boards. Therefore they are totally 100% compatible.

and what's the differeces between all those versions??

is it worth it?

Its worth it.

with the old software, if you pull the trigger 2 times before the software completes the firing cycle, then those trigger pulls dont count.

You could be pulling the trigger 16 times every second, and the gun only shoot 9 balls in that time unless your timing is perfect.

In the new software, version 3.0, each trigger pull is accounted for. If you pull while the software is still cycling the marker, the software stores that "pull" for a certain amount of milliseconds. So if you pull the trigger 20 times in a second, 20 balls are fired. Version 3.2 has ACE support for the Xmag

Also, the ROF cap is raised from 16 to 20.

I had heard on here somewhere a version 4.0 was available. Am I mistaken or is it super secret squirrel classified?

4.0 has been pulled (it was a beta anyways) until they
can resolve some hall effect full auto goofiness.

Don't cross your fingers because it would require a
mechanical hardware change on a EOL'd marker platform.

I have heard rumors that AGD is testing a 4.1 in the
field.

What's a EOL'd marker?
