I don't know if this is new or if I'm behind on the what's new, but surfing around I saw a video clip of a mech mag that was electro-fast. What's the story? will I be able to upgrade my x-valve to do this?

thats got the vid and the whole story.

From what I gather, you will soon (hopefully) be able to buy a frame with all the necessary upgrades contained within. Tom K is currently prototyping it, trying to simplify the design.

Soon!;)

its called the hAir trigger, its a modified trigger frame, has nothing to do with the valve.

I am aware of that, but I can only imagine that the classic valve or the rt valve may not beable to recharge fast enough - therefore only being able to "upgrade" any mag with the proper valve.

the RT valve will recharge as fast as the xvalve, as the weight and reactivity are the only things different between the 2, I believe. and I think the classic can recharge around 15 bps...

the classic will do 16 bps off the shelf.
it can be modified to do more.

the hAir trigger looks to be one of the most innovative things I've seen in paintball since the motorized loader.

I've made a few mods in my time, electro cockers, pneuma-sear mag, and an e-mag being the biggest ones, but this mod that Nicad is doing takes the pneuma-sear idea to a whole new level.

I can see it being applied to several different markers with excellent results.

as for smart parts and their lawsuits, this makes a new shocker look like a waste of money in my opinion.

I cant wait u until tom releases a frame(if he does) with this assembly. Having a mech gun that cant chop and shoots as fast as an electro will be sweet.
Look ma, no batteries!
