4500 Bottle, 3000 psi Reg

Can a flatline 3000 psi regulator go onto a 68/4500 bottle? It should work if i just fill the bottle to 3000 psi right?

Yes, they are interchangeable. Just make sure that only you fill it yourself or you tell the person that is filling it that it can only be filled to 3K.
