Nothing as far as performance. Only difference is the Xvalve is aluminum, as oposed to stainless steel, and is the latest edition of the reactive valve.

RT Valve is made of steel. ReTro Valve is half aluminum and half steel. (The regulator casing) The X-Valve is pretty much all aluminum and includes LEVEL 10. They all shoot the same.

RT valves aren't compatible with ULT, and niether are some older Retro Valves.

Well can't you mill out an RT valve to accept a ULT?

Send them to BradAGD at PaintballMaxx in Texas. He charges $15 dollars to mill them out.

If you have a normal valve i suggest doing "Go X" at www.airgun.com if you have the $$ its only $225 and lemme tell ya lvl 10 great and well worth it :D ....if you dont have the $$ u can probably get a RT valve for like $130+ but it doest come with the all awsome lvl 10 bolt.

Well lets straighten out a few things

Some RT pro valve can indeed fit a ULT kit. The ones with double Orings up top can. The RT pro valve had an Aluminum rear regulator housing and SS front section including the Power Tube. But some had a single Oring up top of the on off and will have to be milled to take the ULT kit. So you have to look. Someone out there knows when that changed over. But do not assume all RT valves cannot take the ULT. Some can.

The X Valve/ RT pro X Valves have most of the forward section Aluminum except for just the Power Tube itself which is still Stainless Steel. So MORE of them are Aluminum than they were before. And a slightly different dump chamber as a result of the fitting in of the SS Power Tube. Not really any difference other than that. The rest is etching between the RTpX and the X. Just labeling is all. All of them have double oring configuration and will take the ULT kit.
