why not do the red roof inn again. Unless there is going to be a discount rate offered somewhere.

Well the bathroom had roaches in it, they called security on us and they never even gave us fresh towels. There HAS to be a better place in the area.

I'm going to plug the local craphole again: http://www.manor-motel.com/ . Roach-free, and about five minutes from CPX, via I-55 to Arsenal Road. If there's any interest, I can give them a call and see what a block of rooms would run.

*Edit*

Ooh, but it's hard to argue with Hampton's Inn free high-speed internet access. :)

http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hd/jotso?irs=null

now THATS a hotel ;)

and they allow pets, so i guess we can bring manboobs in a cat carrier, such as this : http://www.beauforthuis.nl/alex/imag/cat.jpg

only 2 minutes from the field too.

I will be staying at the Hampton Inn again....(As always). It's not too far from the field is right near most all the other hotels. I plan on getting in a day or two early to hit the Chicago scene a little so if anyone plans on being there around Wednesday let me know.

I've got several friends that live in Chicago, so I may try to get in early too.

Is there any talk of a factory tour for this one?

partay!

I didn't think redroof was that bad... but we didn't really... neglect our room like you guys did... :p

I'm impartial though, as long as it has a clean bathroom and is inexpensive.

Well, if you arrive early to 'hit Chicago', I wouldn't stay out in Joliet when you first arrive. Long *** drive between Joliet and Chicago.

Its not that long of a drive, he's just being lazy. Its only an 45 minutes to an hour. Plus lodging is cheaper. ;)

Muzikman

All Hampton's are decent places. I will say it's gonna be the nicest place in that area. And yes, it's got a free continental breakfast. I am very picky when it comes to hotels, but I will stay at any hampton inns.

I'm booked at the Manor Hotel. Hope it's an OK place, Spantol.

If not, how much is the high spped internet hotel? The Manor is $42 for Saturday and $35 for Sunday.

I'll be booking my Amtrak trip at the end of May when my additional points kick in!

I'll be at the Hampton Inn too. I arrive Saturday. The price is 99 for Sat to Sun and 79 for Sun to Mon. They do have a complimentary Breakfast Bar and I believe complimentary high speed access. Because of all the business travel I do I can use some of my points to stay for free... YEAH!!!!

Be advised:
There is an AMA convention in Joliet the weekend of the event. Rooms are going fast. If you know you are going to the event, I suggest you get a room booked ASAP or plan on camping at the venue.
There are a couple of RV parks in Joliet, as well.

Well actually they (Hamptons) don't usually have bars. If I know those guys from the Screamin Eagles they'll want to toss back some brain grenades. Might want to let them know to bring their Coins...otherwise they may be buyin. Trina if you and Doobie find me the first round is on me. Send me a PM and I'll give you my cell phone number.
