The PB store had a couple hanging on the wall, thinking it was the ULE, I asked to take a look. Picked one up, *oof** compared to my old F1 Illustrator, this thing weights a TON! I'd estimate it at least 6 lbs..

Question: Is the RT-ULE custom, with all aluminum parts significantly lighter then the original all-steel RT?
Anyone know it's weight? If it's "only" a 54% weight reduction as stated on the AGD site, it would still be twice as heavy as the F1..

my am/mm converted RTP with barrel is close to sub 2lbs. Search by my user name and the thread should come up...

lol 2lbs, my trix weights 4.6 lbs, plus a 70 ci. plus a halo, thats 9 lbs....

running to the snake on the break , while being shot at by semi-pro teams takes it's toll on a 5'3'' guy like me :D

The Origional RT is alot heavier than the new ULE rt pros. I guarentee you that. I have a hyperframed RT classic sitting in my room and it is pretty heavy. I think the weight is kind of nice though, it feels solid.

If you can't hold it than you should not buy it.If you can't hold a RT classic than i feel bad for you.

Amen! The way I see it, they heavier it is, the harder to break it. I'd still stick with my ULE though. It's just nice to not have to carry the extra weight. I mean, I already have to lug my 180 lb., 5'6" *** around the field.

good job guys! 9 posts that dont have a dam thing to do with the question. Ironic, you will also be the same folks complaining that AO is going the way of pbn.

We figure the shipping weight of the RT ULE Custom marker at 5 pounds ... that includes the packing box, the gun box, and whatever configuration (even steel mainbody) with extra kit pieces and stuff. The boxes themselves add a fair amount of weight.

That's all I can tell you.

Hey guys, do you cup your hands when you pound your chests? OOh OOh OOh! *thump thump*

Anyways, the ULE's come in around 2.5-ish pounds depending on what you stuff on it. It's really too bad the intelliframe seems as heavy as it is.

I find myself going back to this post quite a bit and pondering things:

So, yeah, not quite an F1, but you get a little extra for the weight.

Incidentally, the F1's are one of my favorite guns. I remember them back in the day; well made, light, efficient. Too bad ACI had to trash it up. I almost bought an AFT; in retrospect, I should have just bought it.

I used a guys classic RT last weekend with an 88ci tank and Halo... talk about hefty. He bought that gun when the RT's first came out and the thing still shoots beautifuly.
