My friend told me that he heard on Mancow that "Full Metal Jacket's" R. Lee Ermey is going to be at Shatnerball this year.

Is it true? I don't know, but it would be soooo sweet if he showed up!

I think I'd crap my pants if he showed up. :D

I hope that if he shows up that he will do a special edition of Mail Call!;)

Could you imagine what the pre- and post-game smack talk would be like with R. Lee Ermey on the stage?

He's cool and all, but I look at him differently after his role in Saving Silverman!

Yeah, the ending kinda killed me.

This is great news. If this is the case, I need to get my jersey with "BORN TO KILL" on the front and on my mask I'll draw a peace symbol.

something about the duality of man sir.

lol

altho I don't think that would go well with the whole "mob" scene.

edit: Oh yeah, someoen bring a whole bunch of jelly donuts!

After thinking about this, I highly doubt it. This is probably going to be more of a 'family' orientated event, with the amount of kids floating around. Again, I don't know how it went down the other games but c'mon... Do you really think they'd bring him out for it acting like that.. He isn't exactly PC.

Yeah...and Mancow is REAL PC!

Marine Drill Sgt smack talk is offensive, its meant to be, however Mancow's rants are downright vulgar...

besides... think of how fun it would be to see him on stage putting mancow in his place... the crowd would be passing out from laughter... :D

As a former Drill myself....That is exactly what I want to see! :D

I've never actually heard him so I wouldn't know. Do we get him in Boston?

Cow only said it would be cool IF R. Lee Ermy was there. Never made mention that he WILL be there. Heard it several weeks ago.

He can't be any worse than Mancow was at Spplat Attack II. Right after Mother stated the rule about no swearing, Mancow got the mike, and started with the vulgarity.

Go ahead call him a drill sergeant ... drill sergeants are only army, in the Marines its Drill Instructor :) ...

That is a mistake you only make once in Boot Camp :)

He's based out of chicago, but I have heard him talking to his fans all over the U.S. on his show. His show is lots of stuff to do with sexual comments, and lots of swearing and general bad stuff. That doesn't mean it isn't damn funny :D

If I happen to be with him for more than 10 minutes I'd probably bludgeon my self to death with my own tank just to get away from the guy.

Can't stand Eremy

Whether it is or isn't true.. has anybody tried to get in touch with and invite him.... Tom?

They had COL Hunt last year... who can we get?

it would be worth the price of admission to have him on one team and tim robbins on the other.

Dude I've been considering whether I'm going to not.

If Sgt. Hartman showed up, I'd register right now. That would be the awesomest of awesomes.

He is ten-times cooler than Shatner, we need ErmeyBall.

If he's on Tom's team I'll have to figure out something to honor the man. If he joins Cow and Shatner ...

I'm wearing a "Private Pile" jersey and gunning his butt .... one more time for the team ....

All I have to do is polish up "Sweet Charleen"
