Thanks for the compliments, guys. I'm just learning photoshop now, and I figured that this was a perfect learning exercise!

I can try to do some if you guys want them, but school work also needs to be done!

you may want to us the "save for web" feature. there's no reason a sig that size should be 39k. you must be saving additional data in your file. using save for web will reduce the filesize by stripping out all extra information.
