AO's "Gun of the Month" Official thread..

Now to the people who have already entered their markers, have no worries.. I will repost them in this thread to save you time, but we really need some rules laid down for this do go on.

Rules:
1. You must own the gun to enter it.

2. Maximum width is 600 and maximum height is 450 (You can link your pictures like this though
<a href="LinkToImageHere"><img src="LinkToImageHere" width="600" height="450"></img></a> This will make it so that your picture will only be 600x450 but if someone clicks on it, it will bring up the full sized picture.

3. Maximum of 3 pictures per entry please, we don't want to suck up all the bandwidth ;)

4. Lets try to keep chatter to a minimum. It's not that big of a deal if there are text posts, but it would be better if you used PM's to make comments like "nice gun."

5. Maximum of 3 guns may be entered at one time per person.

6. If you win you may not enter any gun again for 4 months, and you may never enter your winning gun again (this will be decided 100% as time goes on, but for now, this is how it is, it will either be never again, or until the year is up).

Prizes:
Prizes are not yet 100% determined, but Frymarker has expressed interest and I believe will have something in the works as the months go on :D. Their may be monthly prizes, or yearly, eventually I might throw some prizes in the mix, but I have to get rid of my debts first. If anoyone wants to sponser this and add prizes of their own, PM me. Their will be an AO gun of the month sig made which the winner can sport, it will have a picture of their gun in it. If anyone wants to make this PM me, otherwise I will make it (i'm not the best at graphics, but i'm not horrible lol). Gideaon1331 has now offered a Dynasty poster to the winner of this month.

Note: When the results are posted at the end of the month their will probablly be different catagories that are yet to be determined. Expect things like, best mech gun, best electro gun, best overall gun, best blowback gun. So don't be afraid to enter your marker even if you think it's not up to standard.

Also Note: Judges may not enter their markers. Every month new judges may be added, but only if the current ones want to drop out. They have first say whether they want to give someone else a chance to judge or whether they want to continue to judge. I'm thinking of a maximum of 7-9 judges per month, so PM me if you want to get your spot as a judge.

Now you need to tell us what the hell is up with that gun! I want to say its a pump mag with the back of the reg plugged, but then how do you control velocity! Stock Class with the feed tube horizontal along the barrel?

Yes I have expressed interest on sponsoring the monthly drawings. What I thought was the winner of the over all would get the marker drawn by me, you can have an action shot playing or just your marker.

At the end of this year in December I will put all of the winners together for a calendar for 2005. Then we will have a year end over all winner out of the monthly winners and that person will get a calendar and a gift certificate to my shop.

ya mirc, or some other type of chat thing.. Date is yet to be 100% determined but it will be some time shortly after 24-25.. I have a tournament that weekend so if you judges want to do it then you will need to PM/organize it yourselfes. If you wait untill after I get back though I can probablly organize it.. You all have eachothers AO names though, so it shouldn't be hard to do it.

Ok it's a BKO, 2nd body style. The back was hacked off giving it that "strange" look, and the bolt pin slot was also opened up to negate having to totally remove the bolt pin to slide out the bolt. Drilled and tapped a cocker detent in the left side(used a shocktech rebuildable). Polished and then a checker board bead blasted on to everything. Smaller checker board on grip panels, drop and on/off, mitey max and lpr. Also some XPB's blasted on the barrel and back of gun. (better pics later) Alsp has matching anodized swivel l-bows and 1 non- swivel, and a matching fill nipple cover. Even detent covers were ano'd to match.
As far as up grades go, you name it! lol Zenitram asa, z-grip, and valve. Palmers micro rock lpr, AKA mitey max volumizer, ram modded for anti-chop, Vapor bolt(not shown in pics), stainless steel screw kit, Equation barrell ano'd to match. Only thing left to do now is finish checkerboard blasting my halo shells, and dye them purple, and dye the stock bolt green (for show). And the purple revy shells I blasted a checker board on for the heck of it. the blast will show much better on the halo shells.
