Flatline reg wont fit a Nitro Duck tank...

I looked on this site earlier to see if Flatline regs could fit on other tanks and read on a post that all reg thread sizes were the same. Just bought a Flatline reg only and tried to have a local scuba shop put it on my Nitro Duck 68/3000 tank. I now know it doesnt fit! The diameter of the threads on the Flatline are way smaller than the neck of the Nitro Duck.

Is the Nitro Duck unusually big, or the flatline unusually small? Are there only certain tanks a Flatline will fit?

Nitro duck is big. I have a 90/45 mega reg and it is quite large compared to others. I thought about having an airsmith put the 90/45 on the flatline reg but figured the 90/45 was too big for it. Anyways, the reg for the nitro duck is pretty good.
