RT (original), benchy 2x, lvl-X. trigger rod=1.985 (was at 1.980)

I am curious to know why it would leak when you put a little pressure on the trigger? Is this normal? It does this with or without the lvl-10 (carrier 2 and 3 shims) and the .750 or .740 on/off pin.

That's rather odd. The on/off pin was my guess, but I'd suggest calling AGD on this one.

Thats called a pre-fire condition. There are couple of things that may be wrong:
1-if it has a PT spring, change it to a .220 spacer
2-install smaller PT spacer
3-make sure there is a rail bushing in the marker
4-aftermarket Bolt?

1. No pt spring....had the 220 spacer in before the level 10
2. Maybe a different carrier then with the level 10?
3. bushing?--brass piece on rail by front screw? that is there.
(front bolt and banjo snugged+ with wrench)
4. stock bolt before and now level 10 bolt

it is a old RT.........works fairly well besides this little problem

The leak is most likely due to the bolt moving forward slightly during the trigger pull. On a level 7 bolt, you need a shorter powertube spacer to maintain contact between the bolt stem and the o-ring during the releasing of the sear. On a level 10 bolt, you need to remove a shim or two to keep the vent hole from becoming exposed until the bolt is actually released by the sear. Both are easy fixes. Perhaps, your sear is worn a bit, which may have caused a slight change in bolt position from normal.

got it working now.....changed the carrier to 1.0 and no shims......works like a champ now.
