View Full Version : Is this story true. (Regarding the AGD Logo)

I guess it's a local myth around here. There is a guy who plays at my local field (Husker Paintball) That we all call the auto-mag man. His name is joe, I don't know his last name. What I do know is he has 2 mags, both 13 years old. And the word on the street is that at least one of those mags was given to him my tom kaye or another associate of AGD for designing AGD's logo (The 2 Lions). I never get a chance to ask him.

Yes its true but I forget his last name off hand. This came up before he must still get around out there.

the AGD logo looks VERY SIMILAR to the union of Painters and Allied Trades patch.

I mean, uncanny.

I dont think they look alike at all. The "lion rampant" image is very common in medieval heraldry. It just looks good, what I've always wondered was why do the lions in the AGD logo look like they have mohawks :confused:

there's more than one logo for the painters and allied trades.

and yes, i know the lion is a recurring image, i just thought it was interesting the two were similar, that's all I said. I didn't cry "plagarism!" I didn't demand AGD change its logo. I didn't imply that AGD was in some kind of labor conspiracy to manipulate market prices... I just said they were similar.

yep, that is a knock off. i have seen alot of lions used, different crests, banners, logos, shields, etc-but those 2 logos are really close. maybe joe worked for the painters :D
