rt lvl x problem

I just got a retro valve on my gun and I put the lvl x off my classic valve onto the rt. The lvl x was tuned for the classic and i only gotextra carriers for it and nothing else when i got it. The lvl x works on the rt but is pretty hard on balls still. What do i need to make it softer on balls?

Use a longer spring or a tighter carrier.
