I was wondering if I could bring my 4-wheeler with me and play?

If you enter it in as a tank it cant go mroe than like 5 mph to 15mph. So if i were i wouldn't bring it anyway.

I know that most scenario promoters/producers have very specific rules for tanks. To include speed limits, remote kill swtiches, etc. I would clear things with Mackz and AGD before you go to the trouble of hauling your ATV to the event.

I asked about it at the Shatnerball website. Tom said okay, but I just wanted to make sure he knew what it was....here's a pic of what I have...

I want to ride on a bike with a cardboard sign hanging off me saying "Paintball Tank" just carry an A-5 in one hand and steer with the other!

Hey Tina, if you plan to use that as a tank you should check the G.S.R.P. for tank rules [URL=http://www.scenariopaintball.com/rules/GSRPv302.htm] have fun

Hey thanks for the link! Since it's not modified, guess I'll be leaving it at home. Too bad. It would have been a blast with all that land.

im sure that with the possible proximity to a walmart and the general craftyness of us Ao'ers im sure we could bodge up something if ya wanted to use it.

bodge n. Bod-ge: To cobble together items to make a contraption sutable for short time use.

Really? Sounds interesting. What would you suggest?

a couple sheets of 1/2" plywood... some 2x4s... and a few cans of Rustoleum... we could have that thing mocked up as a tank in an afternoon... :)

and the tank part would just lift off when the game is over...

Doesn't sound too complicated. So, it would just sit on the racks?

I think you'd need to tie it down pretty good, and figure out how to put a gunner in there, unless you just want to mount a gun facing forward...

Tina, you can do a quick conversion. netting, 3/4" shd 40 pvc pipe and a couple of good seat cushions for the racks, that will give you 2 gunners. one facing forward one facing backwards. when you build the frame make sure it is wide enough so that the netting does not lay against you or the gunners(reason is, that if it does, you take a beating from being shot) also make the netting hang down to the axles. this will help keep the motor clean( sort of)

I would think you could use 2x4's and 1x2's to build a lightweight frame that can mount to your front and rear trays with u-bolts. Then you could use either plywood or corrugated plastic to armor ir up. A few windows cut and you should be all set...just be sure to make arrangements to protect your legs.

I could build a lightweight wood frame around the 3-wheeler...use canvas to cover the frame and create windows on all 4 sides out of clear heavy duty vinyl. What do you think?

I dont know how long the vinyl or cavas would hold up...most tanks take thousands of rounds during scenario games.

tanks take a LOT of fire... wood or fiberglass is the way to go... netting wears out in a hurry at events like these...
