Ok, what software would you use to make a mp3 file from a dvd? What I want to do is make up some sound bits from my favorite movies for traveling with.

I'm thinking you're going to have to rip the dvd to your hdd, split the audio from the video, edit out the parts you want, then encode them to MP3.

You can use DVD Decrypter for the ripping but the rest i dunno.
