Hey there,
My buddy is going to sell me his .684 barrel but Im not sure what size paint will fit it. I tend to prefer medium cost stuff like PMI Premium but thats large bore.
Would something like Diablo Blaze or PMI Big Ball be a good match?

Thanks

A .684 barrel? That's pretty small.

Try Draxxus hellfire paint. Its small.

I guess my real question is, is it even worth buying the .684 barrel or and I just gonna have issues with it. The guy wants 40 for it and its a Dye Boomstick.

Id say if you normally shoot the big bore stuff stick with a .687-89 barrel, with a tight fit you might just get more ball pops in the barrel.
Blaze is 687-688, it be tight but could shoot fine, since its your friend why dont you just ask him to let you try out the barrel

Don't even bother with it, I'd rather have like a 692 or 694 and never need to worry about matching up paint

*sigh*
Well I hate to pass up the deal but I guess it is for the best. In the long run I would proably end up wasting more money by having to buy specific brands of paint.
Looks like im still in the market for a barrel.
So any suggestions for an angel barrel medium bore?
I like to shoot PMI premium and Blaze.

For PMI Premium, I'd say Lapco Bigshot/Snapshot (Snapshot is the two piece version). I've used both the Snapshot and the Bigshot on my Emag, and the Bigshot on my 98C, and they make excellent barrels, with very very very good paint to barrel matches on PMI Premiums.
