No.

Response trigger is

pull (Bang) release (Bang)

The Mag RT is

pull (bang) release
pull (bang) release

Mag RT's are perfectly legal in a stock/non-modified condition.

The issue at hand with the X-valves is the reactivity. If you tune them right, you can sweet spot it, which is not tourney legal. If, however, you tune it so you cannot sweet spot, you're fine. If you install a ULT trigger, it's nearly impossible to sweetspot.

if your going to get an xvalve, i think the ult is almost a must. itll allow you to shoot so much faster than you already can, and then youll have the speed of an electronic with the simplicity of a mechanical. if you get an xvalve+ult, there will be no problem in any torunament regarding the reactivity of your trigger.

OR buy an x-valve now, and wait until the Hairtrigger comes out. 16bps on a mech. frame...CRAZINESS! Only problem is it won't be out for 6-7 months :(

so if i get an X valve in conjunction with my LVL 10 i can tune it to not be RT?

Xvalve comes with level 10. That does nothing to the reactivity of the valve.

The RT you think it has is NOT what it really has.

All it does is give a push to your finger to reset the firing position. That's it.

The Xvalve is totally tourney legal so long as it's not tuned to runaway. (Several things need to be done in conjuntion.)

Yeah I would go with the X-Valve, comes stock with the LvL 10. And if you put that new ULT mod on it you'll have the reliabilty of a mecahnical marker and the hair trigger of an electro marker. Oh yea and they are totally tourney legal, i've played in many tourneys with mine and had no problems getting in.
