I got so excited I had to show you a little bit :D

Well for those of you who have no idea what this is about, a few months back I bought Clare's old Emag body and I planned on making a Clare Edition Emag.

So this is just the first piece, the middle piece of the battery pack. Each piece of this marker I have to strip and refinish to restore it back to the original aluminum.

I polished each piece until you could see your face in it :)

This piece I did all by hand no mill used. After this I will keep this rest a secret until it's completely finished.

I am really hoping to finish it by Shatnerball...my fingers are crossed.

Thanks Guys,

The finished project will look awesome, some hints of gold here and there, maybe some amethysts, I just hope it does Clare justice :)

Very nice Frymark. You know anything you do will more than do Clare justice! (I'm sure she would agree)

Extremely nice work, the time put into that craftsmanship is not something you see a lot of these days.

Too. Freaking. Sweet.

I love it Heather! I can NOT wait till the rest is done! Keep us posted. Damn that's nice..

Any chance of making parts like that available to the public?!

The Frymarker

Thanks guys!!

I try

TraXeR yes I will probably make a middle pewter battery pack in the future, by milling a proto and making a mold, it will probably look 100 times nicer than this one, because it will be sculpted by machine. But that is in the near future.

I haven't set up the mill, I just got my new laptop screen and I am transferiing files from one pc to the other. Maybe I'll have the mill setup this weekend.

I am going to take a class with some new software in June which will help my designing ability a lot.

I thought I would just make this marker special by doing the whole thing by hand.

I'll probably do the TKMAG that way also.
:D

Woah!! That is amazing, good job Heather!! :D

I still say that I don't deserve having their own edition emag!

TraXeR
05-04-2004, 01:34 PM
Heather, how heavy is that anyway, in comparison to a normal battery cover and a ULE cover?

And Clare.. just smile and nod :p :D .

Clare yes you do, oh stop.....pishaw!

TraXeR I don't think I took off that much, ummm I know that pito189 has what the original pack weighs.

This one is 2.7 ounces....just the middle piece.

Oh and learned the fast way this morning not to brush off excesses while your trying to cut

I stabbed my self in the finger and the graver tip broke off in my finger......ouch!

The only way you'll get to see this in person is if you come to Shatnerball or you live in the New England area. This is my marker, that I am dedicating to Clare, since it is her emag body that I bought.

It will be a part of a collection of "Themed" markers

Sorry for the confusion

I'd keep it too. :p

So, whats next in your themed collection of markers?

The Frymarker
05-05-2004, 05:54 AM
Many thanks :)

Fixion the next one would be the Tom Kaye Edition emag, then I have 2 micromags sitting here that need to be put together.

I am hoping I'll have one micromag put together for a back up gun at Shatnerball. But I may be pushing it :) One micromag will have a scorpion theme, and the other will have a rose theme.

That is exquisite work. I am amazed. Don't forget though that I get to pose for the first picture with you, Clare and the Kitt-E. :-) If you get some time in the near future I may send you my XMag for one of the Frymark special editions. I just have to think of a theme.

Hehe thanks so much guys, sorry for not replying sooner....momies weekend :)

But no I'm not 16 or 19 try on the cusp of 30. And I don't take it sexist, I am probably one of very few women that enjoy marker customizing.

Yes all was done by hand....I have a little bit more finished that you can see in the Shatnerball Flyer thread. It's put together but triggerless. I stll haven't finished the major cosmetics :)

Cyberious yes definitley you can take a pic with me and Clare because I am planing on being there :)

If you want some customizing done, sure I'd be happy to. But I'm new at it, so keep that in mind :)

If you wanted to buy a marker dedicated to you I'm sure I could work on something.
