Hello again, I was wondering if a preset HPA tank would be good for my micormag, or should I get the adjustable. The price different is crazy. And what's the diff between the 3000 and 4500 psi tanks beside the 1500 diff in psi, does it actually work better? And one last question, which name brand do you guy's prefer.
Thanks a lot

Well, I personally use a preset tank (850 psi) and it works great! If you have an ReTro Valve, you may want the adjustable, just to be able to fine-tune the reactiveness of your trigger. Otherwise, a preset is fine.

As you noticed, one of the main differences between 3000 and 4500 is price. One doesn't necessarily work better than the other. If you can get 4500 psi fills where you live/play, it might be a worthy investment. You can get roughly 50% more shots from a 4500 than from a 3000 bottle of the same size. If you can't get 4500psi fills, it's a waste of money.

I use the Crossfire 68 Stubby (68ci, 3000psi) preset on my minimag. It's a steel tank, so it's heavier than a fiber-wrapped, but it has a 5 year hydro date instead of 3.

Just like krafty said, pre-sets are fine. I even have a retro and I run mine off of a preset.

I also run a preset PMI 88/4500 on my Retromag. Not a single problem yet.
