i have ad-ware 6.0, spybot search and destroy, spyware blaster, and then to top it off i went out and bought webroot spy sweeper, which found some stuff the others didnt. now my question is, these are all spyware scanners right? will these find viruses to, or is there a seperate, better device for finding viruses? my computer has been running flawlessly with all of those scanning things, but i was just wondering, i can never be too safe. thanks ahead of time.

Best to buy a virus scanner. Here's a free Online Scanner (http://housecall.trendmicro.com/). Spyware programs only search for specific files and reg keys.

AVG (http://www.grisoft.com/us/us_index.php) is my favorite free AV software.

AVG is usually included on the Maximum PC disks if you have a slower internet connection.

Used to use it on my Winblows machines. Still do. Even though I really don't use them that much.
