I am wondering how fast a person can walk an x-vlave with ult in it. Thanks! :D

just to make sure, "walking" is the term used to describe having the upper finger press the "top" part of the double trigger followed by the one below pressing the bottom part of the trigger in a way that you technically shoot twice as fast?

Yeah, I really wish I could do this without the ULT. I'm starting to regret not ordering it from AGD with the ULT installed. Too many posts about its issues scared me off =P

EDIT:

btw, you probably could have done this in one topic instead of two =P

Hey,

WIth mine set up so that it will not bounce, I can not walk it. But, other people who are better at it have. THere are a couple of kids at my local feild that can rip on it like crazy. DOn't know how fast, but it was as fast as a guy next to me an e-mag.

I can almost walk mine, its real close to being able to walk. I am going to try a set screw in the trigger to try and shorten it up a bit.

And as far as issues with the ULT, that's a possibility whether you or AGD installs it. AGD installed mine and after it broke it the gun stopped shooting. It broke in with two shims but i had to put 4 ULT shims and 1 levelX shim in just to get it to shoot again after break in. It's worth it though. Cali's thread and a couple of other stickys on here are very helpful and tell you everything you need to know.

i had my rt set up with 5 shims from agd and it was very walkable with my logic vert frame. but the other day, it went into runaway with the 5 shims, so im pulling a shim and trying it with 4

I have a set screw in my trigger. It really helps. But, there is one problem. since the set screw till limit the trigger travel, you may not be able to depress the on/off pin all the way with the trigger. So, when you take the gun apart, the on/off pin will catch on the hole in the body or frame and will not let you remove the valve. Just use something to get in behind the trigger and push the trigger rod all the way in before you try to take it apart.

My stepbro put my ULT into his classic mag. The trigger pull was light but the valve wasnt recharging fast enough and it was shortstroking like crazy.

hey mag/cockerlover. Were your 5 shims in the LX or the ult ? Dont more shims make the trigger pull lighter?

yes, more shims make the pull lighter. I'm only using 1, if I add 2 more the gun will shoot by itself if u touch the gun.
