ya look what i found out...........

XT00021 was purchased at IAO 2002, on thursday morning. It is one of the first batch that came available for sale to public. Gunga handled the transaction . Originally it came with version 1.2 software, it seems that the version AGD had flashed on this first version they had forgotten to disable the 'full auto test mode' so it had to come with back-leveled software. The Marker went back to AGD in November of 2002 for the 2.1 software update.

X's of that batch came without barrel, and in a plain white box.

XT00021 was WAY first batch. Real close to what was released at IAO a few years ago.

You should also be able to send it back in to AGD for a free software upgrade. You have a slightly older sersion. Other than that, not much has changed.

Definately get your software updated! I just recently went from v2.1 to v3.2 and it is like shooting an entirely different marker. Just when you thought it couldn't get any better... :)

One would guess he was the original owner or knows the original owner. He would be the only one that would recall all of that. No records like that would be kept. Oral history... a valuable thing to have.

The mag family history is to be handed down from generation to generation.

We've got #11 over here in Chico. In the lighter blue color. Looks nice and will hopefully be sent in for a software update soon.

it would be cool if we could locate #'s 1-10. I know josh silverman has one of them....#7 or 8 i think.

now here's a question...

Xmag's for a while had 'xmag' anno'ed on the valve and then for simplicity, AGD went to just an Xvalve for both xmags and x-valves. ( I believe)

When that switch occurred, did the xmag sn#'s stay in order, with the xt or did they just get the sn vv00000 of the xvalve that got slapped in the marker ?

and what's the 't' in 'xt' stand for ?

and howcome xvalves are 'vv' serial number, why no 'x' in it ?

somebody once told me that, which means i have #3...which is even cooler.

however, someone also told me that there was xt00007or8

but i guess they must have looked at it wrong then.

Ok, it would really be interesting if we could locate 10-20 then...just for fun

The X-Mag's full name is supposed to:
AGD X-Mag Xtreme

The "XT" stands for the "XTreme" part. As far as I know, there were 2 anno names on the X-Mags, one said E-Mag (and the "E" was written in flames) in its earlier version, but after a while they had "X-Mag" written on them. My Serial is XT00361 and it still has the "X-Mag" name on it, so I have no idea if the "X-Valve" name kicked in and if their serials have changed to VV00###?
