i used to own a couple mags a long time ago and then i moved to cockers. now i wanna get back into mags. i was wondering what the trigger pull weight on a x-valved ult mag is? i was lookin at the devilmag and deadly wind trigger also. the devilmags trigger pull weight is 30g or 1.058oz, the deadlywind trigger is 2oz or 56.7g. thanks for the help. :)

The ULT gives you a 15oz. pull.

Note that it is measured from the middle of the TOP trigger grove. If measured any lower it will be less. :D

Also keep in mind that the Hair trigger frame (when it comes out) will be adjustable from 2 oz on up. The demo video in the Hair trigger thread is set a around 4 oz.

Standard pull on a stock mag is 2 pounds I think...somewhere around there. The hAir won't be out for a long while, so don't go holding your breath.

Yeah, even the stock intelliframe is a bit heavier than what I had expected. I would like to be able to walk it, and i'm sure I could with the 15oz one. Sorta regret not ordering it with the shipment =P Too many posts scared me away.

Would have helped if you had told me that earlier....

its all a matter of preference. I still like that my mag will have ZERO reliability problems, while some ULT owners still have issues with it. When I say "heavy" I mean "heavier than I expected". Firing off the lower end of the blade + the reactivity still makes an easy marker to fire very fast. The ULT could help, but ive heard from numerous people that it really doesnt. Something along the lines of trading reactivity for a lighter trigger.

Target Practice, I meant the pull length not the weight. How far back does the trigger have to travel before the marker fires?
