how do you convert a 9vt rev to a 12 volt?

All you do is pick up an X board and put it in. Thats the only way to convert it that I've ever heard of.

yeah and the x-board would let you get a bit more out of it i know it sucks they use the exact same revvy and just basicaly block off half the thing so u cant use it  however if u didnt need more power you can always store an extra batt in ther id u tale that thing out :D

Feed it with 12 (or more) volts. You can mount two 9 volt batteries and run them in series. You can use an external battery and supply the revvy with 12 or more volts. The newer 9 volt revvys have a "block" where the other 9 volt would go. You can remove that "block", mount the 9 volt connecter clip and wire it in series with the existing one. You should probably be familiar with electronics, or at least know what I mean by in series.

get two battery clips from another old revvy board or somewhere, desolder the jumper underneath the board that bridges the other two contacts on the board and remove it. install the two battery clips. remove block and install a second battery. you now have an 18volt revvy(no voltage regulator). its faster than an x board and mine has run like this for years. when i bought an xboard revvy later i also wired the 18volt one for intellifeed. i like it better than my xboard. so i have both and performance wise there is little to no difference.

Yes you can put a 12V motor in there but if you don't change the board (or do one of the 12V battery clip mods suggested) then you'll still only have 9V going to that motor.

Why don't you just get a 12v revvy. I just bought one from pbgear.com for 35 with extra shells.
