I have been looking for a back-up marker to the X. The Impy isn't cutting it! I found this a-4 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=47250&item=3678292528&rd=1). I emailed the guy and agreed to a price of $800.00.

He is no longer in FLorida as his profile on e-bay states. He is now in Munich, Germany. Therefore I tell him I will buy it so long as we use escrow.com. He emails me back saying he has good feedback and wants to use western union. I tell him no way.

Any AOers over in Munich that could help with this transaction would be apreciated!

So what do you guys think?

Scam or no?

Either way I am not sending money via western union to anyone in Germany!! I guess I'll just have to pass on this great deal! :(

Yeah, three definate warning signs:

-Will not use escrow

-Wants to use western union

-overseas

I'd avoid this one like the plague.

Offer to pay the escrow fee, and if he says no then it is a scam, and even if it isn't steer clear of him.

Make him write something stoopid on a sign and take a picture of himself and send it by mail, just so you can be sure... haha , 419eater.com "peta.file" "MY semenstains" haha.

I would rather chew tin foil while grinding my head with a cheesegrater than send $800 for this deal.

Just spend about 50 bucks more on a deal that is more secure.

Sounds to me like he took over somebodys ebay account. Its not worth the risk.
