If you can find one for a good price, they are fun to mess around with.

PGPs are great little markers. If you are looking to get into stock class play for cheap they are great. I would suggest a fast changer for it though...it takes quite awhile to remove the pesky 12gram.

I love mine, they are a blast to play with.

Don't expect to hit much with them, its a lot harder than you'd think to aim a paintball pistol :)

I love the added mobility you get just having a teeny little gun.

They are great little markers. And you can do a lot with them in the way of customizing and personalizing them.

Here is an example of a joint project marker passed between Mad Customs and myself:

But as posed above, they can be a bit harder to aim than your standard paintball marker. And add to that the pumping action and you can get some wild shots if you are not careful. But they make some fun close quarters markers.

And you will want to take Muzikman’s suggestion.

The above PGP that shartley showed is mine. I LOVE my PGP. In fact, I found myself using my PGP more than my Phantom, to the point of selling my Phantom because of lack of use.

Honestly, I haven't noticed that it's harder to aim them. I seem to play much better, and much more aggressive with my PGP. My mobility and speed are much better. You can't go wrong with them. As far as a fast changer...don't need one for the newer model (2K1). 3 turns, and the screw is off. 12 grams arent' that pesty at all on the new models (like mine.) The only thing I DON'T like about it right now, is the speed loader. It's made of plastic, and if you don't have it pushed all the way back in, your balls don't load when you pump...

Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend a PGP.

I have a PGP2:

http://www.pbreview.com/pics/sheridanpgp2.jpg

Which I had "Palmerized" (http://www.palmer-pursuit.com/catalog/UPGRADES.HTM)
- improved valving
- hone and polish barrel
- smooth and soften the action
- 40~45 shots per 12g
- added muzzle break

I also upgraded the bolt to Cooper-T (http://www.cooper-t.com/sheridan.html)
http://www.cooper-t.com/images/40002000.jpg
- Stops breaking paint with your 2000+ PGP
- We bump the ball forward of the gas port.

This thing is a lot of fun!!
