Does anybody know anything about the empire four piece barrel?

I have 7 piece kit and I love it. Shoots pretty darn strait and it's quiet enough. I'm guessing that it's all the same, just that there arn't as many backs.

Mine came in a padded case with 6 backs (681-698 i think) and one front. Overall length is about 14 inches.

I like it, played first time this weekend with it. The difference between bore I used and one size up was night and day. Big one, ball rolled right through. Next size down, blew through with some pressure. :)

Some porting on the control tip running the length, but not tons. Mid-range for noise.

Only potential cons are length not changeable, and a bit $$ (150ish)

quickie review at best ;)

Compare the finish to a Kaner or Sanchez. IMHO you would be better off with either of those.

I had an Empire 4 piece with my old spyder, but I only used it once before I sold the gun and barrel kit... I know that it is a 14 inch tip with .687, .689, and .691 backs... Bummer it only comes in all black, unless you are lucky to get one with chrome backs (since discontinued)... Can't really say much more than that...

So is it worth the 100 dollars?

Think if you want different backs(emipire), or inserts with one back(sanchez).

I like the idea of seperate backs because I feel like its stronger. Plus I've heard of people bending inserts.

As for "worth it", that depends on what kind of paint you shoot. If its consistently the same brand, you may not need a kit. If you aren't sure what you'll shoot, its nice to be able to switch.

Kit $ = two decent barrels$
