i want to put the battery housing of an emag on my mech mag as a front grip. can someone please tell me what all i would need, and will the battery go onto a normal rail or is there an emag rail?

You will need to make an adapter to fit it to an RT rail.
Logic does it (and currently is for me), but may take some time. I think others may do it in the dealers section. It would be easy enough to have a shop mill you a block to mount the pack to.

The e mag frame is actually what the battery pack attaches to.

yep, you'd have to get an Emag grip frame, since the battery pack is not attached to the rail, but to the grip frame itself.

ya that is a sweet looking mag, how muc did that rail cost badtoyz?
