This just came in the mail this morning. All I have to say is WOW. I can't wait for the Series Five to come so I can shoot this baby.(my ule mag isn't done yet) The barrel system came direct to me and a buddy is tuning the SV so that's why it isn't in these pictures.

What looks like a defect on the inside is actually the reflection off my glasses on the inside of the barrel.

My buddie just rushed over with his mag for pics...tanks TIM!

Man I can't wait to shoot this..

I have to say that is one of the wierdest looking barrels I have ever seen, but in a good kind of way. It would be really interesting to see it on a gun. What length is it? or is it one of the multi-length ones?

Its CCM's version of Site's Stiffi kit.. I like it better... and its cheaper too... :)

It looks to be 14&1/4" over all and would be 13" on the marker.

The SV is Red, with silver bits...should look awesome.

Speaking from experiance I hope some one at CCM has a good lawyer, DYE will be all over that in a heartbeat.

re: US Tradmark registration# 2359133

Is site having a problem with Dye...if not why would CCM?

I like the CCM more. The metal tip would keep it from shattering (like shown somewhere in AO), and you can get it annoed to match (look at the CCM homepage. Looks very nice and it doesn't look too off setting to the gun when done so. Only think i could go without on that is the multiple bore backs on it (2" of sized barrel wont make much difference). Other than that its very nice indeed. :D

CCM does the milling for site, and it's site carbon in all the ccm sets.

I thought that Carbon fiber was provewn to be not a very good material to make a barrel from. Keep us updated to to see how it shoots.

Whoohoo, Guam Rocks! Where did you see that CF was proven to be a bad material to make barrels with?

I used to have a stiffi and it was great. Sold it because I didn't like 14" barrels as much as I thought I would. Ended up getting a 10" pipe instead...
