This is crazy, I can't remember a time when we've had more rain. Any other Wisconsin people starting to get tired of this?

word!
comin back from badlandz today we saw that one of the porn shops was under water. it brought a little tear to my eye. the frontage road was closed on both sides of the I and it looked like if we got any more rain that they might have to close down a section of the interstate. and sure enough its raining again. the worst part is that its not supposed to crest until tuesday.
and to top that out paintball sams is completely flooded out eerrrrr
man i hate this weather

chicago is getting hit hard too, and its surrounding territories. The counties of lake, cook, will, kane, and mchenry were hit hard. Cook is where chicago is located to all you out of the know...but yea its incredible. The rain is off and on like every other hour to every 20 mins, Thunder and lightning is insane love the sky show but it was getting close, i could just imagine the places where it really was bad. And tornadoes popping up around town, never in or threatning any thing too close to chicago but the far south west suburbs had a huge (for our area i think it was a F3)tornado hit and take a few lives. And just today one hit near my cousins' house practically across the street luckily the're ok.

But the paintball fields will be pretty nasty especially those wood ball fields.

and the local maritime business is down too since the high waters of the lakes and rivers means less boats and parties on the shores or on the boats of the lakes nearby. Michigans fine but the little lakes around the area are swollen and the rivers wont allow any traffic due to the high water levels.

another downer is the storm stirs up muck and sewage can and will flow into lakes and other watersources. Here in chicago our sewage system is combined rain water and sewage is mixed so if that over flows we got problems!!!

and since its a week before most beaches and pools open people will have hard times cleaning those up in time for eager swimmers and boaters

well good luck and be careful out there if severe weather is hitting yea hard!

and makesure to listen to warning and play smart when it comes to the fury of weather

flooding flooding flooding!

alot of water out here in waukesha! the field across the street from my house is about 15ft of water in the middle, I wish it was duck season!

our stone driveway is no more, the rain washed it away so its more like our driveway is now down the road  I'll have to go wheelbarrel it all back up into place so we dont have to drive on mud...

way too much rain and water for my taste

i know this is an old thread, but i used to live on frontage road. the damn pleasant prairie commission made us sell our property to them, which they would buy for a very very small fraction of what they will be selling to jockey for. they are putting their world headquarters there! wowie the jockey world headquarters in the middle of kenowhere! anyways, yes and the old porno stores, i used to drive past them everyday...

food for thought
