You have to go see any band that loudly calls to its fans for the head of Jar Jar Binks. Hands down GWAR is stupid but its stupid fun, and worth the trip.

Anyhow if ya go remember dont wear anything you dont want to get messy. Then you can take time to enjoy all the poser kids that did not know what they were showing up for.

GWAR! Dude, gwar kills. I saw them a while back, I went there with a white shirt, and came back with a red shirt. They shoot blood off the stage out of hoses and stuff, it was awsome.

"jack, jack ,jack the world" o.k., it's the only gwar song i've heard...and that was on "beavis and butthead", but they look like they would be cool to see live anyway. kinda like going to a marilyn manson show...just sit back and enjoy the madness (except at manson shows, you might unfortunately see some man junk)**shivers**

Manson is INCREDIBLY tame nowadays, especially compared to his way old shows... All his new stuff pretty much sucks.

yeah, i saw him at the warfield in the mid '90's when he was wearing next to nothing and slashing his stomach with a broken champagne bottle. i guess he's "grown up" now.

I saw GWAR in the late 80's. If you didn't know it, the original members of GWAR (I am not sure if any are still in the band) where all art majors at some university...up near Boston (the name escapes me now). All the costumes they made were actually for an project.

That I did not know. I still wonder what they look like without all that crap on

Weird bunch of guys. And creepy girl.

I have a pic of them in normal street close from like '87 or so. Again, I don't think any of the original members are in the band now, but they looked normal. If I had a clue which box it was in I would scan it.

I saw Gwar about a year ago in Richmond. It was the dumbest/awsomest show I've ever seen.

I say, if they come nearby, go see them. It's worth it for the laughs.

Gwar is original, and therefore, awesome. What other death/speed metal band do you know has a horn section?!? :)

This Toilet Earth is a great album. I can't hear Saddam A Go-Go or Jack the World enough.
