Save $115! Use SPRAYPAINT!
NOTE: I am not responsible for the massive changes in bore sizes in your barrels or any other thing that messes up. Spraypaint at your own risk!

now with that said, time for me to get my other pt extreme pimped out!

get high heat spray paint and just be very patient. 3-4 coats, clear coat, cook. OtterSC has a nice right up.

Just do a lot of pre work....tape, sand, prime...etc.

the picture that i posted was a horrible job, the 2nd pt extreme was done correctly (first one i wasn't patient and i just spraypainted the entire thing, 1 giant coat)

So i'll let my 2nd pt dry and post pix of that beauty. AND NO I WOULD NEVER DO SUCH A THING TO MY XMAG!

Yea, I'd personally beat the crap out of him... I'm 5 minutes away although I don't really know where he lives. Probably a good thing too (drive-bys with me xmag :)

sorry if this would be considered "thread hijacking" but i thought it would go good here

and after ~2 times out, i haven't noticed a bit of chipping on the paint, and will hopefully do a different color soon, i just made sure i didn't touch the body when i was painting. I also haven't noticed anything to do with the tolerance issue, i did strip the original gray off first though

I also taped up ALL openings, and it did drip a little on the other side of it not too noticeable though, the next coat will be a gloss black ; )

I have aspray paint job that turned out decent. I will post pics later. I put on primer and some clear coat, but I wanted flat balck and when you spary on clear coat it isn't so flat any more. So I dusted it with the clear. I want to read more about what OtterSC did but I couldn't find the link if anyuone would help me out. I just searched for any posts he made.

Spraypaint does work, but it isnt nearly as durable as anno. I painted my old spyder and it turned out ok. The problem is if you dont strip the anno off, the paint scratches off fairly easy. Here a pic, I stripped the body but not the gas through and this is what happend. Also, it seems impossible to paint the bolt, wont stick no matter what, anno or no. I think the gold on those pistols is an improvment
