I was thinking about buying a used Retro valve with Lvl 10 for $198. I wanted to know how much the valve will increase my BPS with the sock trigger? About how many shots will I get out of a 72cu 3000psi tank with Lvl 10 and without? Any other tips/info is welcome too.

Thanks,

Get the X Valve instead. Trade your old valve in for it. I think the deal is 225 on the AGD Store website if you trade in your old valve.

Yes. The Retro Valve is a good upgrade. It's a great upgrade!
The only advantage to the x valve is the fact that it's aluminum and weighs less. You can also be certain that you can put the ULT in an x valve, for a retro valve, you have to check to see if it's compatible without being drilled first. I'd try to talk the seller down from 189. If you can't, then I'd do the go x valve thing like minimag03 said. There is no set figure for how much the valve will increase your ROF. It's really up to you and how fst you can pull the trigger. Save up and then slap an intelliframe or a Y frame and a ULT on there and it will rip! Or wait for the hAir trigger. :D
I used to get 600 shots from a 68 / 3000 tank but that's with a classic & L7 bolt, so I can't say what the x valve with LX would do.

I need to keep my old valve so I can use co2 when I need to. Anything else?

Nevermind. Your best off with a retro valve, but 200 is too much for it.

Look for one used, look on the misc. items board.
