velocity problems

how can I get my mag to shoot at a consistent velocity? I am getting readings that bounce around from 260 - 290.

minimag with lvl10 & xvalve
12 inch boomstick
double trigger intelliframe
middle spring

Are you using C02 or air?

Hopefully HPA with an X.

X's are usually pretty steady on velocity. The only time I had fluctuations like that was when I was mixing several different kinds of paint.

yeah thats HUGE diff 30 fps is alot if your using co2....STOP and get nitro if not something is seriously wrong

If your x is still pretty new it just might need to be broken in, trust me, the more you shoot the better it gets :)

i'd replace the reg seat and see if that helps things, a bit of dirt or a worn seat will do that to you
